HR26: Regulations from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny Act of 2017

The Federal Register is the official journal of the federal government of the United States.

Revises the system by which Congress reviews new rules written by Federal agencies. Agencies must now report rules as “major” or “nonmajor,” provide a cost-benefit analysis including impact on jobs, and Congress must approve new rules within 70 legislative days.
