HR654: Pacific Northwest Earthquake Preparedness Act of 2017

Requires FEMA to develop a plan for an earthquake early warning system in the Pacific Northwest’s Cascadia Subduction Zone and provide funds for state and local governments to implement it. Directs the President to establish a task force to develop plans and recommendations on preparing for and dealing with earthquake and tsunami events in the Cascadia Subduction Zone.
